Invitation to United Cycle Hockey Showcase

Players, coaches, parents and anyone else interested in hockey gear is invited to the free hockey showcase at KC Twin Arenas on June 25.  You must register in advance. Please read the full invitation letter with all the details and restrictions from United Cycle:

Dear Tom Dechaine from the Knights of Columbus,

I would like to take this opportunity to invite you and any of your staff/students/players/coaches to United Cycle’s 2nd Annual FREE Hockey Showcase!

Every year employees of the Hockey Department get to test out the new gear before it hits the shelves, and this year we are excited to announce that we are offering our customers that same opportunity!  Need new skates but not sure which ones to get?  Don’t stress!  Come try all the manufacturer’s new models on the ice before making a decision.

All the major hockey brands will be on hand to showcase their new products.  CCM, Bauer, Warrior, Sherwood, and True will have skates, gloves, sticks, and helmets for you to test out.

Don’t worry goalies, we didn’t forget about you.  Vaughn, CCM, Bauer, and Brian’s will have pads, blockers, and trappers for you to test out.

The Showcase will take place on June 25, 2017 at KC Twin Rinks between 2pm and 5pm.  Ages 13 and up are welcome.  You can register online at www.unitedcycle.com or come early and register at the door. Top brand reps will be in attendance to educate the public on all their latest and greatest hockey products. The event will also feature prizes, giveaways and free t-shirts for participants. The event is drop in style so players can come and go as they feel necessary.

All participants must wear a helmet with cage while they’re on the ice so please bring yours in case there isn’t one readily available when you want to hit the ice.

Goalies, there will be pads, blockers, trapper, and sticks to try out so please bring the rest of your gear in order to be able to take shots.

Spots are limited so register early!

We can’t wait to see you out there!

Sincerely,

Tyler Sutherland
