It is with deepest sadness and such sorrow that we bring to you news on a tragic accident that occurred within our Knights of Columbus hockey family.
The Boyko family lost their son/brother Christopher in a car accident on Hwy 28 on October 18th. Knights of Columbus members lost a hockey friend and considered brother to many team mates. Chris was a pillar of support to his family. He stood by Cordell, his younger brother and other players through the hockey tryouts and at many of our games. He was a wonderful young man, friends to many of us and will be dearly missed.
Many of us have enquired and are wanting to do something in support of the Boyko family. Whatever you may decide to do will be greatly appreciated by the family.
If any of our hockey families wish to make a monetary donation to the family, The Knights of Columbus will accept donations on their behalf. You may arrange to call the KC office at 780.457.4527 (speak to Brenda or Jodi) to provide your credit card number; drop in to the office with cash or a cheque; or send an e-transfer to . If you are wanting to send an e-transfer please advise and we will provide the password.
Thank you to all for your thoughts and prayers.
